This prism bluetooth speaker is one of the coolest and LOUDEST bluetooth speakers I have had a chance to test and I have tested quite a few.
I saw this and knew exactly why I wanted to test it. Back when I was a kid my parents had this 8-track player that was big maybe 4′ x 5′ and it had lights on the front that went with the music and it was the coolest and I loved watching it, this will be my kids’ version of my parents’ 8 track player. 🙂
When I say this is a loud bluetooth speaker I mean it. I forgot I had it turned up when I filmed my review and I scared my kids. 🙂 This is so loud that when I put the volume up as high as it would go it started to move around from the vibrations. Not only is it loud the sound is fantastic. The bass is nice and deep and rich not even a hint of tinniness (is that a word?).
As if the sound wasn’t enough the lights are definitely the highlight of this speaker. As someone who has tested a lot of speakers I am now to the point where they have to do something cool to make them relevant and this speaker goes above and beyond. The lights have multiple settings, I try to show them all in my video (sorry my cat decided to make an appearance in my video too, she loves music).
The port for the charging cord is covered so you don’t have to worry about dust getting in there. The power button is on the side, that took me a second to find. This connects quickly and easily. There is a button on top to change the light settings or turn them off (I don’t know why anyone would want to turn them off though) and there are track skip and repeat buttons that are separate from the volume buttons; always a plus for me.
The worst thing about this speaker is trying to decide on which light pattern I want to use, very cool speaker, very unique and I can’t say enough good things about it. I will continue to test it by playing Journey and CKY and Rage Against the Machine as loud as possible while making dinner and if I have any issues I will update this review. 🙂
