19mm Mulberry Silk Pillowcase
It has been quite a while since I’ve had a silk pillowcase and I think they’re great especially in the summer time, they feel like luxury.
These seems to be a very well made [amazon text=pillowcase&asin=B01EZUC5XU], granted I just got it. I checked all the stitching when it arrived and used the zipper a couple times and had no issues. The first thing I did is to wash this, I have a thing about washing anything that is new so this was a must. There were no care instructions included which would have been nice because like I said it has been a while since I owned silk. After some quick online research I washed this in my washer and then put it out on the clothes line like I do with all of my laundry when it is warm. I had no issues with the stitching or anything once washed but it was super wrinkled which didn’t bother me that much but it is worth mentioning.
Only one side of this is the colored silk, the other side is white cotton so if you want to turn your pillow over in the middle of the night be aware that it will be a different fabric. I actually have a king size down pillow that I love and sleep with nightly but I think it is so much more comfortable when it is in a standard pillow case, if feels fluffier to me and it fit in here and zipped up easily which was impressive because this case was pretty stuffed when I put my giant pillow in it.
Other than the wrinkling this is a very nice [amazon text=pillowcase&asin=B01EZUC5XU]. The fabric is vibrant and beautiful and when this arrives it also comes with swatches of the other colors in case you want more but want a different color because it is fun to mix and match these beautiful fabrics together.
Time will tell how well it holds up, I wash my linens regularly so I hope this beautiful [amazon text=pillowcase&asin=B01EZUC5XU] works out over the long haul.
