Strictly Briks LEGO compatible Tower Set
This is a pretty neat idea, I know my 4 year old is really happy to have his “Lego Hotel Garage” now. 🙂
At first I thought that my 10 year old and 4 year old would be able to put this set together themselves and they tried but they didn’t really read the instructions to notice that you have to turn the direction of the vertical bricks when you attach them or else when you go to put the top on they collapse. After we figured that out we had no issues putting this together.
This tower set is not particularly sturdy so if you are considering using these as anything other than play you might want to consider another option. I know as a designer it would be tempting to use these in a LEGO inspired room but it wouldn’t work without a lot of extra effort.
That being said it took me a little over 5 minutes to put this together as pictured and that was with a couple of technical difficulties and a cheeto break. 🙂
I was able to use standard size regular name brand LEGOS with this and they worked great. My son went and got his toy cars and stacked them up on it and for some reason he really likes playing with play-doh on it. 🙂
If this was a little sturdier when assembled I would have given it 5 stars. I love the bright orange color and the way my son’s face lights up when its ready to be played with. Even if you’re not planning on stacking this it still has lots of bricks and (4) baseplates that you can use to create other things. If you are planning on stacking this and want to know how big it is, I measured approximately 12″ with a 4″ space between each base plate.
The company (clever creations co) offers these in a variety of colors including a multi-color one.
If you’re a LEGO fan or know a LEGO fan this set a nice addition to any LEGO collection, I know my little LEGO fan is happy with this brick set.
