Long Fancy Pink Gloves for Clark Griswold Christmas Vacation Costume

Why did I purchase silky, fancy pink gloves?  Well, since I am a stay at home mom it certainly wasn’t for all my expensive social events. I actually bought these because I was recently invited to an ugly Christmas sweater party and decided that instead, I would dress like Clark Griswold from National Lampoon Christmas Vacation when he was stuck in the attic. Because these were for a neighborhood party, I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on them so I looked for the least expensive gloves I could find that were prime and these were it.

I realize that you get what you pay for and honestly, for the main part, these did the job. The color was close enough to look like the movie and the style certainly worked. These gloves are light-weight and perfect for a party since they aren’t overly warm. The general style of these [amazon text=gloves&asin=B01A83EUAO] is fancy and they do have a lot of stretch to them so they will fit a variety of hand/arm sizes.

Here is my only complaint with these [amazon text=gloves&asin=B01A83EUAO]. The fingers (especially the pinky and the thumb) have excess fabric and you can feel where the seams are stitched together. This did get a little bit annoying as the night went on but it wasn’t a huge deal and for the price, I decided I could deal with it.

So, if you are looking for a costume [amazon text=glove&asin=B01A83EUAO] these will do the job. If you are looking for a legitimate glove for a super fancy evening out you might want to look for something a little more expensive.

If you’re interested in dressing like Clark Griswold check out my review for the [amazon text=faux fur wrap&asin=B01LYMH879] I purchased that was also inexpensive and worked out perfectly for the completed look.
