Tonor Magnetic Building Blocks

UPDATE: It appears that this product is no longer available by this seller so I have updated the links for a similar product from a different seller but I can not promise that they are exactly the same. Review for the new product will be completed soon.

I’ve been wanting to get my kids magnetic building toys like this for a while now. They love to build things with legos and other building toys but I thought they would really like these and it turns out I was right.

I am all for toys that allow kids to think creatively and use their imaginations and to work together to problem solve and these are all of that and more. I started filming my review with them and then got busy doing mom things and they went ahead and finished the review themselves showing off the ferris wheel they made completely on their own. This wasn’t even the finalized ferris wheel, they added onto it a little later and used the solid end pieces to make seats.

They’ve made quite a few things, some from the instruction manual and a few things on their own including a prison to use with my son’s castle toy.

My only complaint is that the manual shows a lot of ideas that can not be completed with this set be it because they have shapes that were not included or there aren’t enough [amazon text=blocks&asin=B01AG1PW0K] in the set. I will add, and you will notice in the video, that my instructions are not in English. The seller actually contacted me via email right after these were sent out to let me know the wrong manual had been included and emailed me an English version. It didn’t really matter to me because all you really need are the instructions.

I think one of my favorite things about this [amazon text=toy&asin=B01AG1PW0K] is the case to hold it in. All too often kids get toys like this with tons of parts and there is nothing to put them in. Not only do these come with their own case they come with letter’s so you can personalize it, that is if your name only has one of each letter. 🙂

My kids have seriously been playing with these [amazon text=blocks&asin=B01AG1PW0K] for at least 3 days straight now which says a lot because we just got a new video game system. 🙂 Super fun toy for both my 4 year old and my 10 year old and they can do it themselves while I get work done, that’s a win win for me.
