Super impressive stove for the price
I love this range. It doesn’t hurt that my previous one was older than me, only had 2 knobs left and they loved to randomly turn themselves up when no one was around and the oven could burn a cookie on one side of the tray and leave another one raw so I had no where to go but up.
I saw this range and stared at it for quite a while. This has all the features I was looking for, nice size oven, lots of burners, griddle and the knobs were all there and labeled. I was going to purchase it while looking at it and became hesitant and came home later that night determined to go out and buy it but little did I know that my husband went out while I was gone and picked it up and installed it for me!
I will admit that I haven’t had this very long so my rating could change in the future and as I use it more if I find more things that I like or don’t like I will try my best to update my review but for now…
My favorite features so far:
The burners produce a large and even flame
The griddle is easy to use and cooks food evenly, I made the best grilled cheese I’ve ever made on this griddle and I make a lot of grilled cheese.
The knobs are labeled- this might seem silly but my old stove only had “lite” and “off” labeled so to see med and low and dots in between makes me happy
There is a chicken nugget setting and a frozen pizza setting. We are a busy family and when I’m not feeling up to cooking we throw in a frozen pizza and this makes it easy. The chicken nugget setting is my favorite because I have a little boy who could live off of them, no pre-heating required, throw them in and they’re done in no time. (Just a tip on this one, put the rack second down from the top, use the high chicken nugget setting for 5 minutes on one side, flip the nuggets and no more than 5 minutes on the other side.)
I have yet to do the timed start but I’m looking forward to trying it.
We’ve made 3 different batches of cookies and all three turned out exactly the same and baked perfectly.
My only complaint so far is that the buttons are a little hard to push but that is partly me getting use to not using dials any more and the stainless is not fingerprint proof but really that’s not a huge deal to me.
My favorite detail is the little bit of red on the knobs. It may not seem like a big thing but I was an Interior Designer and I have a red kitchen and that little bit of red being tied in makes me happy. 🙂
That’s all I have for now. I’m so happy with our purchase out of all the stoves I looked at this was the most affordable with the options I wanted and I did I mention that it has all the knobs. 🙂
