MissShorthair Chiffon Kimono Coverup

Amazon asked so I am saying that this kimono coverup is somewhat large but only because it is big on me and I am somewhat large however this is meant to be a free flowing article of clothing so it’s supposed to be somewhat large, just wanted to clear that up before writing the rest of this review.
This style of coverup is very popular right now and there is good reason for that, they’re comfortable and a little extra something to add a what might have been a rather simple outfit to liven it up.
Admittedly the outfit I am wearing in my video review would have been better in a white shirt but it has been a long week so I went with what I had on. :-). The coverup is pretty much your standard kimono style, big sleeves, loose all the way around and lightweight. This is not silky like a lot of other kimono products but the fabric feels like it will breath well which is good since most people will wear these when it is warmer out. The fringe around the bottom is done very well. I am typically not a fan of fringe but I like it on this. I really like the “V” shape opening in the back, I don’t know why I like it so much but it is a nice added detail in what is otherwise a pretty standard shape.
I got the dark blue kimono and it has large white butterflies all over it and the pattern is lovely. I will say that after seeing some photos of the other options that are available for prints I’m wondering if I chose wisely because the designer for these picked some gorgeous patterns. The fabric is not completely see through but you can make out general shapes through it, I would imaging that because it is so dark that is part of the reason for it not being so see through, I’m not sure if you could say the same for the lighter colors.
I mentioned in my video review that I would try to get measurements of this which was not easy. When laying flat this is roughly 38.5″W (since this is overall that includes the sleeves, I measured the total width of the back) x 23″ H not including the fringe.
I don’t think this is the most flattering item for my body shape but really it depends on the outfit I’m wearing it over. That being said I don’t really care because I think it’s cool. 🙂
