Hamer Bib/Choker Statement Necklace

I honestly love this choker necklace but to be fair I have never been a fan of super expensive jewelry, I don’t understand what the point is to pay a ton for something unless you plan on wearing it every single day.
That being said this is obviously not an expensive piece of jewelry and you get what you pay for. I’m basing my love of this necklace mostly on the design. Even when I ordered this my husband saw the confirmation email and texted me to say that the necklace I just got was really cool, usually my husband couldn’t care less about the jewelry I buy especially if it doesn’t cost him anything. 🙂
This necklace has a rose gold finish which is very in style right now and I am huge fan of that finish because I am not a fan of yellow gold and as much as I wish it would, silver doesn’t go with everything.
My necklace came wrapped in bubble wrap and in a plastic bag so if you are thinking of giving this as a gift be aware of that. The necklace wasn’t tangled or anything when it arrived so I don’t really care what it comes in since I got it for me.
I got the one with the red, blue and purple stone. The stones look kind of like play jewelry, again this is part of the appeal to me. They look more like vintage costume jewelry with that type of stone and that is the aesthetic I love. The “white” stones have a slight pink undertone which works well with the rose gold and they also have a pearlesque finish to them. There are “crystals” here and there as well to add a little extra sparkle.
When flat the decorative stone part is approximately 3″ W and the longest piece in the middle (where the blue stone is) is 2.25″L
Again, this necklace won’t be for everyone that is for sure. You have to be able to appreciate unique jewelry and you have to be able to appreciate inexpensive jewelry that still looks cool. I’ve had inexpensive jewelry pieces in the past that I’ve gone to wear once and the links broke, that is not the case with this, I tugged all over and there were no weak links that I could find.
If you’re a fan of unique, inexpensive, vintage inspired (and almost punk rock) pieces you’re going to like this necklace. If you don’t like any of those descriptive words I just mentioned this one isn’t for you.
