Click & Grow Indoor Herb Garden
I recently received my click & grow indoor garden and I am completely impressed and excited by this product. I have always wanted an indoor garden because despite the fact that I live in suburbia I live next to a big hill which completely blocks the sun most days so I can’t grow anything that requires constant sunshine. I also love basil but I hate paying for it so I had quit using fresh herbs in my cooking and I’m very glad that I can start using them again thanks to this product.
I have included a video review that shows exactly how this product arrives and how to set it up. I will be updating my review as the weeks go on to show the progress of the herb’s growth. As far as the initial design of the product; it is a great look. I was an Interior Designer for many years so I’m pretty picky about the things that go into my home and how they are designed and I have no problem displaying this product because of its cool, sleek and modern design.
As far as usability this couldn’t be easier. You take the product out, take the pods out and take the sticker off of them, put them in the grower until you hear a click, put the dome on them, plug it in and fill it with water; that’s pretty much it. The light is incredibly bright (because it has to be) and runs for 16 hours and then turns off for 8. If there is not enough water in the grower the light will blink which is a very nice feature because I tend to forget to water my plants. Also, you only have to add water every 3-5 weeks so you don’t have to worry about your plants if you’re going on vacation.
This unit is 12″W x 5″deep. The base from the bottom to the top where you put the plants is 4.5″ tall and overall to the top of the light the product is a total of 11.5″ so it is fairly compact and doesn’t take up a lot of space.
I can’t wait to see how well this works and I will be updating both my written and video review with progress because ultimately if you’re interested in purchasing this product what you really want to know is how well it works (as do I).
UPDATE: This has been growing a couple of months now and I’m impressed. I’ve had no mold issues, actually I haven’t had any issues at all.
