Adult Coloring Book

I received 4 coloring books from this company, 2 of the swear word books (so much fun) and then this one and one called, “Eat, Drink and Be Merry”. I filmed my review to show both this one and the Eat, Drink and Be Merry thinking I could compare the two but honestly there is no comparison. Actually I won’t be posting the Eat, Drink and Be Merry review on my blog because it didn’t get a high enough rating when I reviewed it.
That being said the remainder of this review will be for the book shown on the right. This coloring book is above and beyond the other one and you will see why. It starts with the cover, it is bright and vivid and the texture of the cover almost feels like it has a silk finish. The pages in this book although not top of the line paper are noticeably smoother and color nicer.
The images throughout the coloring book are lovely, there is a variety and there are some that are more intricate than others. I love that some of these are not fill the whole page images because I don’t like to spend a whole day coloring but a couple hours here and there I’m OK with, anything longer than that and I will probably get bored or lose interest.
I’ll include a picture of my finished coloring page for reference. I chose one of the easier ones in the book for because of time constraints but it still took me quite a while to color it (I honestly think I could have done better too, not my best work). I like to use color pencils when coloring because I like to blend my colors, I know some people like to use markers but I can not tell you if the pages bleed or not because I did not test with markers.
Overall, this is a lovely coloring book with beautiful drawings that would suit a variety of ages. I do think at this price point there could have been a couple more fill the page drawings but it doesn’t really bother me that there are only a few as they don’t interest me as much.
