This is quite a unique sweater necklace and what my mother would say is, “different”. 🙂
My favorite feature about this necklace is the chain. I was not familiar with a snake chain before but I really like it. If you are not a fan of chunky thick chain you’re not going to like this one. I thought it was unique and I personally think that because sweater necklaces are so long that they look better on thicker chains, it helps to balance out the length.
The beauty of this necklace is its simplicity yet it still has the ability to attract your eye and be different with the little bit of sparkle details that were added.
There is a crystal clover shaped piece just above the tassels, if you’re like me and wondering if this piece moves like a bolo tie, it does not and I don’t consider that a bad thing at all, I think it would annoy me if it moved.
The tassels are a combination of chain and crystal chains, which again, that little bit of sparkle makes them special but the chain makes them grounded and simple.
My only problem with this necklace, which is kind of a big one, is that the top of one of the tassels has a spot that caught on my sweater twice (I show it in my video review). If you’re wearing this with something that isn’t knit you won’t have a problem because it isn’t that noticeable but I wore it with a tight knit sweater to church today and it got caught. That being said I still really like it so I will continue to wear it I will just pay more attention to what I wear it with or at least try to find a solution for my one rough spot.
All that being said I’ve only worn it a day and already had compliments on it and you don’t always get compliments on jewelry so that made it a little more special to me. I love the vintage look of this and the finish is great because it isn’t really silver, it has a black undertone to it and actually reminds me of pewter; this allows it to be worn with a multitude of colors and styles.
If only I didn’t have an issue with that rough spot. 🙁
